Easy-to-read LCD display
Instructions for use
During the course of the measurement, the momentary temperature appears on the display. The “°C” symbol flashes continuously during this process. As soon as you hear the beep (beep-beep-beep-beep 10 times) and the “°C” no longer flashes, you can read the temperature obtained during the measurement. To prolong battery life, turn off the thermometer after use by lightly pressing the power button. In any case, the thermometer switches off automatically after about 10 minutes. For a correct axillary measurement, place the thermometer in the center of the armpit, keep it firmly closed, and then turn on the thermometer.
Usage precautions
Avoid exposing the thermometer to ambient temperatures above 60°C. The thermometer should NEVER be boiled. To clean the thermometer, use only water. To disinfect it, see the “Cleaning and Disinfection” section. The thermometer contains a long-lasting battery. When replacing the battery, place the used battery in a container provided for this purpose.
