Terms of sale and returns


1. Prices

The Acofarma Distribución S.A. (Acofarma, hereinafter) product catalog is subject to availability according to stock. Acofarma reserves the right to withdraw products from its catalog without prior notice.

The prices indicated are expressed in Euros, excluding VAT

Acofarma reserves the right to make any changes it deems appropriate at any time and without prior notice, and may update products and prices daily based on market conditions.

Exclusive service for pharmacies. Flammable products excluded. For cooperative members, purchases of € 40* or more will be delivered at no additional logistics cost; for lower amounts, the shipping cost is € 9. In the case of Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands the minimum order is € 125 (prices without VAT).

Deliveries to Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands may have special conditions.

In accordance with its commercial policy, Acofarma may offer discounts, whether for loyalty, for the acquisition of products of a certain relevance, product offers, as well as other reasons that Acofarma may agree upon at a given time. However, Acofarma will be the one to offer these discounts and offers freely and voluntarily, to whomever it deems appropriate. These discounts may never be demanded or requested by the user.

2. Shipping

Acofarma will not send any product until it has been verified that payment has been made in cases where this is necessary. An order is not final until it is accepted by Acofarma.

Acofarma undertakes to ship the merchandise on the same day if it is in stock. You will never be billed if there is no merchandise in stock.

Order delivery times, estimated at a maximum of 48 hours (deliveries to Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands may have special conditions), are calculated on working days – Monday to Friday – from 9:00 to 18:00 hours. Deliveries will also be subject to holidays (local, regional and national). Acofarma is not responsible if deliveries by the transport company are not made within the stipulated time due to force majeure, problems with the transport company or local, national or regional holidays stipulated by the transport company. The delivery times indicated by Acofarma are for guidance purposes only and Acofarma makes every effort to comply with them, while they also depend on the transport companies.

Delivery will be considered to have taken place when the carrier has made the products available to the customer and the latter has signed the delivery receipt document. The customer is obliged to check that the number of packages delivered matches the number indicated on the delivery note and to clearly indicate on the delivery note if there is any incident (breakage, bag opening, defective packaging, etc.) with the order.

Acofarma reserves the right to send orders partially, subject to prior communication and acceptance by the customer.

3. Deliveries

3.1. Deliveries with payment made by credit card

Once the order payment has been received in Acofarma’s account, the order processing will begin. From then on, the order will be sent and the customer will receive it within a maximum of 48 hours (between 9:00 and 19:00 hours) (deliveries to Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands may have special conditions).

If payment for the order is made after 17:30 hours, processing of the order will not begin until the following day. Likewise, if payment for the order is made on a Friday after 12:30 midday, the order will be processed from Monday. These conditions would not apply on local, regional, national holidays and weekends.

3.2. Deliveries with payment made by prior bank transfer

Once it has been verified that the transfer made by the user is correct, Acofarma will confirm by email the receipt of payment and the processing of the order to the user, the delivery of which will take place within a maximum of 48 hours according to the time of sending said email (between 9:00 and 17:30 hours) deliveries to Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands may have special conditions).

The hours for receiving bank transfer receipts are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 16:00 and Fridays from 9:00 to 12:30 midday. These conditions would not apply on local, regional, national holidays and weekends.

4. Payment methods

Payment for purchases made through Acofarma can be made by bank transfer, money order or payment by credit card: Visa and Mastercard.

4.1. Pago mediante tarjeta de crédito

Once the user clicks “place order” in the online purchase, they can select payment by “credit card”.

Before finalizing the order, the registered user must check the purchase amount and the shipping address of the order. The shipping address will always be by default the address that the user included in the registration form.

Once the order is completed, the user will go directly to Banco Sabadell’s payment gateway and must follow the instructions of the virtual POS to make the payment.

4.2. Pago mediante transferencia bancaria

Once the user clicks “close order” in the shopping cart, they can select the payment method through “transfer”.

Before finalizing the order, the registered user must check the purchase amount and the shipping address of the order. The shipping address will always be by default the address that the user included in the registration form.

Once the order has been completed, the user will be shown a summary of the order details and instructions for making the payment by bank transfer; they will also receive this information by email. From this moment, the user will have a period of 5 days to make the bank transfer to the account number indicated. The order will be processed when Acofarma receives proof of said transfer by fax or email and verifies that the amount of the transfer is correct.

5. Guarantees

All products sold by Acofarma have the warranty period stated on the product or that established by the manufacturer.

All products are visually checked (batch and expiry date) to ensure they are in good condition, so when you receive your order, check that the contents are not broken or open and that nothing is missing. If this is not the case, do not accept the package, stating the reason on the courier’s delivery note. You must notify us within the first 48 hours after receiving the order.

The warranty covers the replacement of a product, except in those cases in which Acofarma or the manufacturer stipulate other terms.

The warranty will be invalidated under the following circumstances: impacts and/or improper transport, failure to comply with the instructions for use and handling, damage due to natural phenomena or catastrophes such as storms, floods, lightning, earthquakes, fires, etc.

6. Returns

IN LINE WITH CURRENT REGULATIONS, ACOFARMA DOES NOT ACCEPT PRODUCT RETURNS. Claims will not be accepted after 7 calendar days from the invoice date.

Incidents due to breakages or errors on the part of Acofarma will be replaced free of charge.
